Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the HiveFive application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms are entered into between you and Briggs Group LLC, the operator of HiveFive.

2. Who May Use HiveFive

HiveFive is designed for use by families. To create a parent or guardian account, you must be at least 18 years old. Parents and guardians are responsible for setting up and managing child profiles. Children use the App only through devices set up and authorized by their parent or guardian.

3. App Purpose

HiveFive is a family management tool that helps parents assign chores and habits, set goals, manage rewards, track allowances and screen time, and motivate children through an incentive-based system. The App is intended to support — not replace — parental involvement and judgment in family routines.

4. Parent and Guardian Responsibility

The parent or guardian account holder is responsible for:

• Creating and managing child profiles
• Setting appropriate tasks, values, and reward types for their family
• Reviewing and approving or rejecting task completions
• Overseeing their child's use of the App and earned balances
• Ensuring the App is used appropriately within their household

5. Child Use

Child access to HiveFive is set up by a parent or guardian. Children use the App under parental authorization and supervision. Parents retain full control over tasks, approvals, rewards, and all account data associated with their family.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials (email, password) and any child PINs secure and confidential. Do not share your password with others. Notify us immediately at admin@hivefiveapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

HiveFive may offer paid features or subscription plans in the future. Any pricing, billing terms, and features included in paid plans will be clearly disclosed before purchase. We do not commit to any specific pricing in these Terms. All purchases are subject to the payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its underlying systems
• Use the App to transmit harmful, abusive, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or another user's account
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App or its servers

9. No Guarantees of Outcomes

HiveFive is a tool designed to support positive family routines. We make no guarantee that using the App will produce specific behavioral outcomes, academic results, or changes in your child's habits. Results depend on how the App is used within your family.

10. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep HiveFive available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time, with or without notice.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or used the App in a manner harmful to other users or to us. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at admin@hivefiveapp.com.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Briggs Group LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — HiveFive. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

HiveFive is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of HiveFive after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
